Registration for Classes:
Each course is restricted to 15 students. Register today to guarantee your spot. You can register by paying with a credit card through the PayPal system (above). It's fast, free and secure. If you want to send a check, please e-mail classes@bellyqueen for an address to send it to.

Make Up Classes:
If you sign up for a course and for any reason cannot make it to your designated class, you can make it up by dropping in to any other Bellyqueen class during the same course session you signed up for.

Transferring Courses:
If you sign up for one course then decide to transfer to another for whatever reason, you will have the ability to do so free of charge if the course has not started yet. If you decide to transfer after a course has started, then you will be charged an extra $5 for the extra admin work to make the change.

Credits:
If you want to keep a course credit, the only way to do so is to transfer it to a 10 class card*, with the following formula, "$170 minus price of course" then pay the left over amount to your class instructor and she will mark off the no. of classes attended up until now. (The extra $40 for the 10 class card brings each class up to the price of a drop-in.)
*You have up to 4 weeks after the last class of your course to transfer to a class card. After this time, your credit expires.

10 Class Card:
If your 10 class card expires, then you have the option of paying an extra $40 to extend it for 3 months from the date of expiration. You must extend the card within 1 week of expiration. After this, the credit no longer applies.

What to Wear: Please wear comfortable clothing, leotards, t-shirts, crop-tops, long skirt, long pants or leggings. Bare feet, jazz shoes, soft ballet-type slippers, jazz sneakers, Capezio Hermes Sandals (see left poster with dancers, Amar Gamal, Kaeshi and Sonia) or half soles are fine. Contact a Capezio store for more information.

If you are an intermediate/advanced bellydancer and you are interested in wearing high heels, we thoroughly recommend the Capezio 825 Open-toe Footlight shoe. This shoe comes in silver and gold and features a sturdy 3" heel which makes it much easier to have strong, grounded shimmies.

Private lessons per hour (NYC):
1-4 People: Starts at $50 total
5 or more people: $13 per student
10 or more people: $11 per student

Studio Rental:
Students are responsible for covering the rental of the space.

Cancellation Policy:
Over 12 hours before scheduled lesson: No penalty fee.
6-12 hours before scheduled lesson: Student will be charged 1/2 price of instructor fee.
1-6 hours before scheduled lesson: Student will be charged full price of instructor fee.
